Last Thursday, Régis Pitolet, our CTO, received the CDO of the Year award with great emotion.
Régis Pitolet competed with six other Belgian digital leaders for this prestigious award. Two winners: Régis Pitolet for the French-speaking part and Johan Guelluy (Acerta) for the Dutch-speaking part. Congratulations to both!
This award recognizes not only Régis Pitolet's work, but also the commitment and determination of the entire i-CITY team, as Régis points out:
"I am deeply grateful and honored to receive the CDO of the Year award tonight! This recognition is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the incredible power of teamwork and innovation. I would like to thank the jury and the organizers of this event. Your recognition means a lot to me and to the great team I have the privilege of leading.A leader is nothing without the team that supports him. This award is a celebration of our team's commitment over the past 5 years, exploring new digital frontiers and creating solutions that make a real difference to the citizens and agents of the City of Brussels."
I would like to express my gratitude to the City of Brussels and the i-CITY teams, our invaluable partners in this adventure. Your dedication and hard work have been the driving force behind our success.
Special thanks to Mary-Odile Lognard, our Managing Director, for her support and confidence. A huge debt of gratitude to our customers and stakeholders: the administrative and political representatives of the City of Brussels, Dirk Leonard, General Secretary, and Fabian Maingain, our Chairman. Your faith in our vision has been our guide.I am also very grateful to our technology partners for their collaboration, trust and support.
This award is recognition of so many achievements by the many talents of i-CITY and the City of Brussels, culminating at the end of 2022 with the opening of the brand new Brucity administrative center.
Together, as a single team, we have done something that few Belgian local institutions have dared to do or achieve: building an extensive user experience at Brucity for citizens and agents, technologically equipping a 60,000m² building, 4,000 agents with NWoW and collaborative tools, a citizen 2.0 relationship, paperless administration, the creation of Bruce, the citizen-centric omnichannel digital platform...Once again, I'd like to express my gratitude to all of you! This award is also an encouragement to continue our journey of transformation for citizens and agents! The best is yet to come, and I'm excited to celebrate this achievement with my incredible teams!
Let's continue to push the boundaries of innovation and create a future where data, digitization combined with our humanity, can truly change the world!"
Régis Pitolet's victory as CDO of the Year is a source of pride and inspiration for the entire i-CITY team. This distinction is not just an individual achievement, but represents the fruit of the collective commitment, innovation and One Team spirit that have characterized our journey over the years.
Congratulations once again to Régis Pitolet and the entire i-CITY team on this achievement!
